For whatever was written previously was written for our instruction, that by endurance and by the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. St. Paul (Rom 15:4)
We live our Catholic heritage through a ministry of teaching, whether it be at the parish, prison, or post-secondary venues. I believe that there is no more purposeful endeavor than to seek the Lord while He may be found, call Him while He is near (Isaiah 55:6), and to share that understanding that we receive through Mother Church with others.
This year (Mondays and Wednesdays through Spring 2025) we move to a collection of topics including the Creation Accounts, Job, and Luke’s Gospel Account, all at St. Christopher Parish in Hobe Sound: see here for details.
Join us as we study Scripture, or read the back stories of our faith. Available for download to your eBook reader is our Psalms as Personal Prayer, which is a modern prayerbook translated from the original Hebrew specifically for the purpose of intimate personal prayer: expressing our emotions, feelings, attitudes and desires to our Creator. Commentary has been included, which adds greater understanding to a number of psalms. Now you can get the Psalms on Apple iTunes or Amazon Kindle to pray on your tablet, smartphone, and/or desktop. We will use this as our opening prayer for the 2024-25 class.
